After being on the road for 12 months we have decided to change the way we travel and are now living on the island of Ibiza, Spain (Toby’s birth place) . This was always the plan but was going to happen after 2 years of travelling. After an amazing experience with a Shaman in Peru we both decided this was what we should do, and a few months later here we are!
So watch this space to see where we are taken next!
So what you see below is where we went in our original 12 months.
Many of you have been asking where we are going, so here it is, a map of our rough route!

The world is our oyster!
The only fixed places we are in is Belize (to chill out in a beach hut) at the end of Jan for 3 weeks and then Rio mid Feb for 2 weeks (for the carnival) after that we have a very flexible itinerary leading us right down to the cape of Southern Argentina and then back up North through Chile, to Bolivia and eventually Ecuador where we fly to Cuba and spend a month their before landing back in the UK around the 10th September 2009.

Central America

Southern America
We are back for our oldest Daughter’s (Gemma) wedding in Edinburgh on the 19th September 2009. which we are really looking forward to.

and back up again...
Then in October 2009 we start the 3rd leg of our journey heading to Las Vegas, Easter Island, Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, India etc………….till we end up at our new home of Ibiza, Spain around Feb 2011 (unless we find somewhere else on our travels!)

Was just checking out your blog and realised you must have arrived in South America by now!!how exciting! It was lovely to see you both over Xmas and we wish you all the best on your travels-you really do know how to live the dream!! Hope to hear all about your first stint when I next check the blog – happy travelling! Julia
